Went to the Sheraton in downtown Seattle to check out the gingerbread train stations. Pretty elaborate, made with all sorts of candy.

Boat work

Finally started on Ann's rowboat. Needs another coat of epoxy, then the keel, skeg, more fiberglass, and then the inside. I need to get busy so I can have my garage parking spot again. -Gerrit

Went window shopping in Downtown Seattle on Saturday. We stopped at Von's for warm drinks, fries and clam chowder. Some odd meat roaster in the window kept us warm. -Gerrit

The boys and I and grandpa dennis picked up a pretty ugly load of firewood for the cabin from some friends and stopped off at John Nitzel's house to get rid of it (too dirty to use at the beach house). Home and garden show

We picked up Elon (2 year old neighbor) and went to the home and garden show at the Tacoma dome. It was Elon's first bus ride, which freaked him out a bit. But he rallied, and had a good time. Elon is very well behaved, but it took all the energy of Henry,
Max and I to keep up with him. -Gerrit
