Backpacking Trip to Shi-Shi Beach

My friend Seth and I went to Shi-Shi Beach on the ocean nearly at the northern tip of washington. The weather was quite nice. Warm and sunny most of the time, with some clouds and a bit of rain on the morning we left. A long drive, and easy hike, and spectacular scenery. Nice to get away for a few days. Thanks Nana and Janet for watching the boys while I was away.

Shopping and lunch

Our dishwasher is on the fritz (making odd noises), so Henry and I
went looking at dishwashers today. Found one I like, but it is
pricey, of course. I'll just wait for this one to die and see what I
think then.

We're having lunch at harmons, then getting some orange light bulbs
for our light posts out front (gotta decorate for the seasons). -gerrit
