Breakfast

A breakfast upstairs before our ferry ride to port Angeles and then
back home. -Gerrit

On a double-decker bus

We bought a pair of day passes for the city bus. Here is Henry at the
front of the top of a double-decker. We were looking for a train
store that we didn't find, but we did find a donut shop, a playground,
and a nature preserve with a lake.

Dinner

Dinner at the fancy restaurant at the top of our hotel. Nice
restauants are the worst places to be a vegetarian. I had a good,
although somewhat odd, slab of tofu, presented like a steak (on a bed
of some leek cream sauce with tempura squash on the side, topped with
crushed hazelnuts). Good tofu, but about 3 times as much as I was
interested in eating. We went swimming after dinner. -Gerrit

Vacation to Victoria

Henry and I are spending the weekend in Victoria. Here we are eating
lunch in a caboose restaurant about 40 miles from port Angeles, where
we'll catch our ferry. -Gerrit

Fieldtrip to the logging museum

Max's preschool class took a fieldtrip to the point defiance logging
museum. After a train ride, max honked the train's horn, a few
times. Fun, but cold. -Gerrit
