Ringing the bell

A nice bike ride for Max on the waterfront. He can start and stop
great, so I think I'll bring my own bike next time. Really need to
get Henry a bike since we've given Henry's bike to Max.

Moving some rock

I finally started on the last part of my front yard landscape project
- moving my trail to the back yard over a bit so it isn't as steep.
But, that requires a retaining wall and some digging. I used Bob's
truck to bring some gravel and rock in, but I need lots more. After
starting on the wall, I'll need 6 pickup truckloads worth, so I'll
just have a dumptruck drop it off in one load.

Seaweed boy

After weeks of Max joking of eating seaweed sandwiches, we made some
Japanese sunomono salad with wakame seaweed, and he loves it.

Sending a ship off to sea

Lucy and Max enjoyed the beach. Nice 73 degree weather had them
wading and generally enjoying the water.

Blending in

It may surprise you, but this is not just a nice picture of some
shrubs. There are two people standing very still, blending in with
the forest. We tried hard to find a rainbow or a large flowering
rhody for a more natural environment for Lucy, but she had to make do
with simple stillness.

Hide and seek

Max and henry playing hide and seek in a green spot near the library
in Belfair. We went in to go to the library book sale. We missed the
first day, so pickings were a bit slim. Came home with some good
stuff anyway.
