Bushwacking

Our house is above a long ravine from proctor down to the waterfront.
There is a nice trail through it, but the near trail head is still a
good 10 minutes walk. So we occassionally tromp through the forest
looking for a safe route to get from the middle of the ravine to our
house. Today, after school, was one of those days. Not very
successful, but we didn't get stuck no nettles or injuries, and fun
was had by all. It is sort of like the hunt for the fabled northwest
passage. We know there is no trail, but we love looking for it.

Henry and max are somewhere in this picture, climbing a very steep
slope. -Gerrit
